Skeeter Snacks

Everyone knows how scary peanut allergies are.  I have had the opportunity to sample some delicious nut-free cookies called Skeeter Snacks!  Skeeter Snacks were founded by Pete and Dave aka "The Two Bald Dads" because of their children's nut allergies.  The felt it was not fair to have to buy two different snacks for their families, so they decided to make a snack that was nut-free AND delicious that the whole family could eat.

Skeeter Snacks have three kid friendly types of cookies.  SkeeterDoodle, Golden Oatmeal, and Chocolate Chunk.

SkeeterDoodle

Golden Oatmeal

Chocolate Chunk

My family split the cookies up, and we tasted each one.  My husband liked the SkeeterDoodle the best, and my son and I loved the Chocolate Chunk.  Whenever a product comes out that is "free of a certain ingredient" I get nervous about trying them.  I am afraid they will have a bland taste or just not be good at all.  I actually think these nut-free cookies tasted pretty yummy!!!

If you would like to purchase Skeeter Snacks online or see where you can buy them in stores, CLICK HERE.

Also always remember to tell your child's school or daycare about any food allergies they may have!

*I was sent complimentary Skeeter Snacks in exchange for a review.  I was not compensated for a positive review.  All opinions about this product are mine, and my family's!

  1. These would be perfect to send with a child as a snack to school. So many kids have allergies these days!

  6. Those sound pretty good. I too am afraid of trying things that are
    "missing" something.
