Progressive Snapshot

Oh yes!!!  I am so excited to be a part of Team Flo!!  She has sent me this small device called "Snapshot."  What you do, is plug Snapshot into your OBD port in your car and it will observe how you drive your car for 30 days.  It will calculate all of your mileage, the time you drove your car, and even your hard brakes.  After the 30 days are up Progressive will be able to calculate a discount into your car insurance rate.

I drive across 3 cities to drop my son off at the babysitters house, then drive back to work, just to drive back to pick him up, then we take the long drive back home!  Since we drive so much, I really would love to see how much money my family could be saving just by switching to Progressive.

So, now that Snapshot is plugged in let's get driving!

If you would like to see how much money you could be saving, just click on Flo and she will take you there!

  3. We've been wondering about the snapshot. We live in the country, and most of the time, our vehicles are travelling at high speeds. It's rare that we drive 30 mph, only if we're "in town", which like I said, is rare. Would that effect the discounts?

  7. My fun travel experience: This summer we went on our first family vacation since the baby was born, we drove up north to a cottage we rented. We brought the dogs with too. It was quite cozy in the car with me, hubby, 2 kids, and 2 dogs. I was so nervous that the baby would cry and that the whole trip would be stressful, but it ended up being a total blast. We sang songs and ate snacks.

  8. I love mine! I've gotten a lot better at the hard brake and it only goes off when a squirrel runs in front of me now. Yes, I am THAT driver :D

We got a 27% discount on our van and the full 30% on our SUV!

As long as you've enough strength you may continue steadily to combat.
